Ryan is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Michigan. He attended the University of Rochester as an undergraduate and then completed his doctorate at the University of Central Florida. His hobbies include playing the piano, video games, and watching baseball.
Ryan is currently working with Emily Rauscher on three-dimensional characterization of exoplanet atmospheres. His PhD work focused on extracting extremely weak exoplanet signals from Spitzer observations.
