Kenny Goodis Gordon is a PhD candidate and Graduate Research Assistant in the Planetary Sciences Group at the University of Central Florida, where he works with Dr. Theodora Karalidi. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from James Madison University in May 2017.

Kenny’s research interests lie in the modeling and characterization of the atmospheres and surfaces of terrestrial exoplanets and assessing their habitability, trying to break degeneracies between habitable and non-habitable planetary scenarios. He accomplishes this by using polarization-enabled radiative transfer (RT) codes to simulate the reflected flux and polarization signatures of these worlds.
