James Cooney is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Central Florida. His primary research interest is cosmology and the large-scale structure of the universe (he knows, he knows, NOT planetary science), though he also works with Joshua Colwell analyzing data from the Cassini spacecraft. As a lecturer he is also heavily involve in the education mission of the department, teaching a large variety of classes in physics and astronomy.
